Lynchburg man faces 20 child porn charges 
Chad William is facing charges for twenty accounts of child pornography. William has already once been convicted with such a charge, and was found in possession of the content while on probation. William is being held at Blue Ridge Jail without bond until his trial takes place.

Lt. Gov. candidate Northam visit Lynchburg 
Lt. Gov. candidate Ralph Northam paid a visit to Lynchburg this past Tuesday night. The democratic hopeful spoke to over a 100 people where he spoke on abortion and women's rights in the state of Virginia. Elections for the race will be held in November.

Presbyterian Homes & Family Services 10k grant
The SunTrust Foundation gave a ten thousand dollar grant to the Presbyterian Homes and Family Services. The money will be put towards the new Way to Work program, which helps families in need pay for car repairs and buy vehicles. SunTrust is excited about the partnership and the way that Way to Work will help families in the Lynchburg area.
